The biggest difference between the Central Hockey League and the ECHL, Krug said, is youth and what younger players bring.
``The main thing is speed,'' he said. ``There are a lot of younger guys who have been drafted to the NHL who are on the front end of their career. They are a lot quicker. That forces you to make decisions quicker. That's really the only difference. There are good guys in both leagues. It's basically the youth. There aren't too many old teams in this league compared to like Fort Wayne or Evansville. There's not too many of those guys out here in this league except Kalamazoo with (Kory) Karlander and those guys.''
