One sharp dude over there at ITB!! Damn good scoop, and to tell you the truth it doesn't matter what the name is as long as the people fill the stands.... Here's hoping for good luck to the new club, and the CHL as well.

And as you'll notice on the crosspost, Cutthroats actually references a native fish, so I can remove cringe-inducing jersey crests out of my head (I hope!). Still, would be nice to get away from trout species once in a while as far as team names go... let's hope for the best with this run!

I like it, good luck to them. I'm surprised that a new team is surfacing in ANY league......gotta be tough.

Given that the Chicago Express took a full year to ramp up and promote their club and still couldn't make it, this has disaster written all over it.

I agree, although I will attend a few games just to check out hockey in the old barn again....
