Another head scratcher on a long list of head scratching moves for Bloomington hockey...

It seems odd to me that new investors wouldnt recognize the exceptional work Gardner has done this season after being handed a vastly inferior team to the rest of the league to start the season???... Reading between the lines, I think Bloomy is in store for bigger changes than just finding a new coach...can they survive more?
WHAT WE HAVE HERE, IS FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE....

this is the beginning of the end. Sandy is probably sitting on a huge mound of payables and is trying to find investors. this is a way to save money. Front office is probably next. She has taken a huge loss this year. Lucky if they return.

What a crock! Gardner has done an amazing job especially when you consider the late start and inept ownership. Bloomington gave the Komets fits all year!

I really wish Bloomington could get a solid ownership group, at least in my mind I think it could be a quality hockey market...the people in Bloomington certainly deserve better ownership!

Gardner is at the Rivermen game tonight, He was pointing out player he had coached, to me..
He was very frank - he had agreed to a two year extension 6 weeks ago. Three weeks ago they came and said there were "new investors" and would not sign the contract.
Sounds like he WAS planning on making a real home, here. His boy is playing youth baseball in town this summer. He seems genuinely disappointed,

Wonder if Bloomy returns to the CHL?

This summer shall be very interesting to see who survives, moves, folds, goes dark, etc.

Will this be the Mega-Silly Season of Summers ever???
