Looks like Akwesasne handles a short bench better than 1000 Islands. SOG 88-36! Ex-NHL'er Dagenais with 7 goals! I think the salad dressing team canned their coach and a few players in the last couple of days.

per the teams owner from the clubs fan face book page

"A few members of the team did not feel safe playing against Akwasasne given the recent injuries that have taken place during their games by ours and other teams. This left us very shorthanded, as not showing up for another team's game is not professional. In this business, you depend on your partners in the league to show up in order for a game to take place. Collectively as an organization, we are taking steps to rectify the situation in time for tomorrow's game. We will deal with the individuals and the situation in time for tomorrow's game. Thank you for your continual support of Privateers' hockey."

That was posted by team owner Nicole Kirnan. Then they made these roster moves

1000 Islands 02/04/12 Littlejohn, Frank (RW) placed on league suspension
1000 Islands 02/04/12 McLean, Timm (LW) acquired in trade from Delaware forFutureConsiderations

So, sucker-punch Littlejohn couldn't muster the courage to show up and play?
