JG/Cohn K’s shot at top spot needs strong finish

The Komets’ six remaining games are against the IHL’s three worst teams, Dayton, Quad City and Flint. Four of the six games will be in the friendly surroundings of Memorial Coliseum.
Despite the favorable schedule, the Komets’ big challenge may be not playing down to the competition.

Dayton's never say die attitude has them scoring the last 3 goals of the game; but run out of time... 7-4 K's win...
Love the way Dayton plays!!!!!!!!!! They may not hacve the most talent; but they work thier tails off!

Brandon Warner played very well for the Gems tonight.......I even saw Boucher target him in the last goal by shooting the puck at him along the boards and all most hit him in the head. Boucher also was jawing with his teammates during the 2nd to last Dayton goal, and Chewy was barking back at him, I actually thought that Chewy might run him or drop him.....seriously. It must be playoff time again.....Boucher versus his own teammates.....yep. Warner might have had 3 assists for the Gems.
why is Bobby Phillips now a forward??? Come on. Rodger rode the pine for Warner, now Phillips is. What gives? Who will they sit next for the hometown hero? Guy? DeAngleis? Danko? not Bertram...LOL
I don't get it. Do you? DDS?
They might be resting guys for the playoffs and Warner is getting the time on the ice for that reason. I think Guy and Bert deserve the rest the most...as does Shafronov. He looks beat out there most nights.
Sign Luc Aquino. In the crowd sitting with Jaromir Legault tonight. Legault is our in the stands good luck charm. Wonder if he will do the orange mohawk for the Playoffs again this year?
