Nice number.........
5-3 Jacks win as they erased a 3-1 Hawk lead in the 3rd period on the strength of 2 PP goals. Centomo beats Sterling as the Jacks out shoot PH 32-22. It also vaults the Jacks into 1st place and drops PH to 3rd.

Sterling's confidence crumpled in the third as the "Sterling is a baby" chant filled the arena. Coincidence? Not likely, I give the win today to the almost 4,000 children that almost raised the roof with their chants and noise. Thanks kids.
Best game of the year so far, it had everything, my favorite two team match up, my favorite person to taunt, my favorite ref, and 4,000 screaming kids to keep me entertained. The only thing else I could ask for would be a comeback win, which the Jacks obliged me with.
I just want to say thanks to PH for participating with the Jacks on this game and all of the kids that made the trip. Oh yeah, I could ask for one more thing, a Generals game tonight since I am in Flint. Maybe next year.

Thanks to Langdon for what?? Helping the Jacks out? It could have been much worse as the Icehawks get away with hooking and interference more than anyone I've seen.
Just imagine if Muskegon wouldn't have put so many pucks wide of the net. The game probably would have been over before the 3rd period.
Blame the loss on Sterling, not Langdon. If you didn't have such a loose cannon as a goaltender, his confidence wouldn't completely break when the smallest thing goes wrong. After a scrum in front of his net, where a Hawks player shoved a Jacks player into Sterling and bowled him over, he got up hootin' and hollerin' like he wanted to fight someone. You'd figure he would have learned by now. He's already gotten his ass kicked once on Muskegon ice. Why would he want to do it again? Oh, that's right, because he can't win games in Muskegon. At least if he fights, he gives himself another opportunity to win SOMETHING.

Langdon didn't make any difference. Sure the penalty shot call was lame, but the IceHawks stopped it and avoided the penalty that should have been called.
PH got some help too. They should just delete interference from the rule book. It's such a random call.
Anyway it was a good tight game and with all those kids in there the LC rocked.

Ehhhhh, as long as they're consistent. They called it the way they always do. He had a clear breakaway and was hooked. Doesn't really matter if he still got a good shot away. A small hook, a big hook, a trip, a cross-check, doesn't matter. If the guy is on a breakaway, and another player does something to him from behind, there will be a penalty shot.
I don't care how they call it, as long as they call it the same way every time. That will favor the Jacks, all the breakaways they get, and their superior speed.

The look on Sterling's face after giving up the third and game winning goal in the last period....priceless.

They are Port Huron's retro style away jerseys. Clean and simple, very nice. The Jacks home jerseys are nice looking also, I'm just not sure about the Lumberjack logo.
