Mike Forney goes #1. Aaron Crandall, Jake Youso, and Joe Gleason head to DM for Jefferson Dahl and 2 draft picks. Wow.

What happened to Lincoln's first round pick? I know they don't have a second, or a third round pick...just noticed that Chicago had the rights to Lincoln's first round pick. Is that leftovers from the Dan Lawson trade from last year?

Has to be. Was there any other Steel player Lincoln acquired?

Off the top of my head, that has to be it.

Damn...I believe they traded a first round futures pick as well for Lawson. Pretty pricey.

If Lawson played physical and fought, he'd be the total package.

Finally picking now in the 5th round, the Lincoln Stars. At least McGroarty didn't have to roll out of bed early this morning.

The kids who were drafted you have colleges next to their names Ryan. That's where they are commited, right?.......................Damn, the Steel are loading up on forwards. Indy took the 1st goalie. I liked their backup last year a lot.....

Nice job Flyin Ryan!! :beers: ...... Thank you sir!!!

Go Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel!! :smokingjoe:

No. That is their PREVIOUS team, so the team drafting them must know they are planning on leaving college and opening up their options again.

Damn, that's risky. They'll go the the CHL if they have enough game won't they?

After the draft, whenever they open it up for trading, then we'll probably see more moves. They just didn't use him for a draft pick, but if they want to use him for a player trade.. then we'll see.

They hit their 23 players. Now they sit until everyone is at 23, then we go to 30.

Thanks Scott...........Looks like Poapst is going with Pissillini in goal!!!

remember, if you are going to transfer between Division 1 schools, you have to sit out a year. So if those college players plan to switch schools, the USHL makes sense in between

Chicago, Lincoln & Waterloo still have open goalie spots (per my understanding)...goalies with comparable/lower MWEHL stats already selected...here's hoping...

Makes good sense gb.... Man, if Cooper lands those top two from college the team will be instantly much better..... I see Cooper only took one guy, a Dman, from St Louis! I like Dmen!! :dancingbanana:
