Larsson in net to start the third. Nice center as Fargo gains the zone to Pokorny.  Larsson makes the save getting his glove behind the pad as the puck was coming underneath. Huge save 20 seconds in.

Nice feed by Farmer to Sammy Steele behind the D, everyone expected Steele to shoot passes back to Farmer on the side of the net. 6-3 Fargo.

Driscoll was back at his igloo building ways in Sioux Falls tonight - ref was made aware yet didn’t care - his “interpretation of the rule” is that its only a penalty if the snow fort is built along the goal line..

Fantastic crowd in Green Bay.  That's a big arena and there aren't many empty seats in the lower bowl.........

McL took his his ACT's this morning then got on the bus with the group to go to Green bay for this tilt...... He stands up for new guy Treloar as he was run into the end wall from behind by Dman Verrier.  Verrier gets the extra 2 minutes but both get a 10 minute misconduct.   GB will take Verrier and McL off the ice for 10:00 all day long.

GB gets 5-6 shots but the Steel kill the thing.  ....... Chippy game with 1:00 left in the 1st.

At 2:10 of the 2nd and on their 19th shot Herman nicely tips a shot from the point of a faceoff.   1-zip GB.........

Steel "survive" 1:30 of power play time when Lilli is tripped up.  :30 of 5 on 3 for CHI............. Sloppy game in all phases for the Steel.  Many odd mans against, couple breakaways, their obligatory 2-3-4 grade A's against while on the PP.

Just like when they were dominated at WTL last week they are in the hunt for a point despite being badly outplayed only down 1-nuttin.

At 6:17 of the 2nd my guy Bergmann strips McL at the center line, in alone, forehand, 2-0.    Big fan of Bergmann, big kid, some skill, good skater, will engage, real good on the walls.......... Combined 7-8th odd man/breakaway Steel have given up.

Zhukov has shut the Steel out in the last 97:00 and GB has outscored em 6-zero in that time.

Minute into the 3rd, Steel down 2-0, and with an already chippy and physical game the refs seemingly have swallowed their whistles.

Yet another breakaway given up by the Steel while on the PP.  Horrid puck management on the PP continues........Steel still have 1:30 of PP time to "survive".

At 14:57 with the Steel 4th line on, 3-4-5 turnovers on the shift ends with new guy Dman Kessel mangling the thing behind his net, stripped, Welsher all alone in the crease, 4-nuttin.

Looks like my guy Bergmann takes a we just won the Stanley Cup reaction to their goal in February and gets a 2 minute unsportsman like.  ...  Steel have 2:00 of PP time to survive.

Excellent PP in that the Steel didn't allow a shorty or even a breakaway but 3 seconds after the penalty ends Dugan with his 87th east-west pass this weekend (despite leading the league in points playing wing he's a centerman now), a weak backhander cross ice in the neutral zone along the wall, back turned to the play, picked, breakaway, Autio stops another.

Well, I would think that is an incorrect interpretation... rule says NEAR the goal line... doesn't say anything about obstacles being along the goal line, but it does say pretty much refs call.

"...deliberately piles up snow or obstacles near the goal that, in the opinion of the Referee, could prevent the scoring of a goal."

Steel clubbed 4-0 as the Gamblers shut em out for the 2nd straight time for a total score of 10-0.  Give up 41 shots............ Outplayed and outcoached in every phase.  Steel fall to 5th.  The club is 1-4-0-1 last 6, with the only win a 5-4 win over CI after erasing a two goal defecit and scoring the game winner with :45 left, who has the worst points total by 6 in the league.

Every line has been juggled with no answers found in fact the line changes have shown overall regression not just offensively but the amount of breakaways and odd mans against are at minimum alarming. NAHL New Jersey guy comes in and gets 3rd line and 2nd unit PP minutes.  Lotta east-west from this club as they look to score highlight reel goals with many of them going the other way for odd mans and breakaways.  ....... Very easy team to play against right now, very generous to the opponent both on and off the ice.........

Have been told Stucker requested trade outta Chicago and that's the precipitous for the deal with Fargo.

Also, lots of talk things have gone down hill in the room since the firing of Coach Mark Abalan.

Chicago just 6-9 since the coaching change.

I hope Stucker and Gurney play well for Fargo but I'm still salty about seeing Brian Hurley leave the Force.
