Makes sense given the ownership group.

Thanks for the link and welcome to FYC, Stiff.  :airhorn:

Williams tore up the NAHL the USHL not so much:  http://www.hockeydb....y.php?pid=33799

I see this as an opportunity for Bloomy but with the concerns of solvency you have to wonder who will take the gig.

Look for a current NAHL coach playing for the Robertson Cup to pottentially replace Williams.

There is a difference between someone who plays hockey, and a Hockey Player. which one are you?

WAGs are fun, aren’t they?

So, which one, Coombs, Wildfong, or Langer? Since Davidson didn’t really want to move Williams up but was overruled by Rajcic and Yuill (Gelinas was a far better hockey guy than Rajcic but that’s what happens when you divorce the boss’s daughter) and Davidson knows he is hanging by a thread so what’s to say instead of Coombs et al they don’t move Nicholson up despite his awful record because he is a college guy with one year left then give Amarillo to Love to keep the Everett gate happy and move Watt up with Williams? Maybe "The Show" would know?

Isn’t this stuff fun?

Why would I know?

My guess is Mike Watt, who is the current assistant coach, takes over.

Certainly, a workable way, or give him Amarillo where he has been before with success and work something out with Nicholson, then bring someone new in to Bloomy. Just Coombs and Wildfong left in playoffs. It’s pretty well know that JC has had his name in the hat a few times for USHL openings and would like to get back in the league. Another possibility for JC is Omaha, both he and Sullivan are Ontario guys. I think Dubuque will go with Bitner but who knows. Danny likes his gig in Texas is paid well, secure, and makes good money with his camps so I think he would want more money than JC.
As far as Williams and Everett are concerned Davidson had a lot of interest from NHL guys, and some experienced CHL coaches so if it is Williams one would have to conclude it’s a money issue and the “maintaining organizational continuity” will be in the press release.
It is somewhat like when Davidson replaced Hartsburg and got rid of Ferner and Hartsburg’s kid he knew he was on the hot seat and Yuill spent the money on KC. This time he is really on the hot seat.
How’s them for WAGs?

This is the rumor I have been hearing as well as Jewell becoming the GM

If true, it would be pretty telling I would think especially giving Jewell a GM job.

Maybe to the building for the last year of the lease money, and maybe to any one looking for a contract beyond a year.

Doesn't mean the franchise isn't relocating
