Steel are out playin em, and score. Better out, better ins, better control. ........Oneill pushes it up to Lutz, Lutz enters the zone, cuts to the middle, O'neill go to the net, Lutz finds him on the doorstep with a beauty pass, O'neill puts it through Kivlenieks. 1-1........

Ladd fighting pucks 4 minutes in. A real adventure in the Steel crease ............. SC Dman and Captain Jacob W ilson skated warmups but isn't in the lineup. Wonder if his leg is bad or if Varady thought with the Steel starting a 3rd string goalie give the kid the night off to heal some more. Was a nasty spill he took v WTL in Game 5 only 3 days ago.

5 minutes in and I see no change of systems or style from Muse. Steel are activating Dmen in the Ozone and in the Dzone look as usual, attacking and not sagging.

SC ain't crisp at all 6 minutes in. Wonder if they have a bit of a hangover from a Game 5, 3 days ago. We'll see if they find their skating legs as this goes on.

Badini dangerous in the Ozone, SC moves it out, Johnstone draws a high stick behind the play, Steel PP.

Solid PP, nice puck movement and control, a stuff attempt (SC sloppy around the crease) but SC not only kills it but draws a high stick from my guy Lewandowski. #1 playoff PP SC on the PP.

Wow, Steeeeeel with a shorty!! O'neill allowed to skate it in, drops to Shore at the left wall, Shore takes it to the dot, toe drags Kneis (might have been an SC line change doing on) to get an angle, snaps it past Kiv far side glove side. 2-1, Steel. Who the hell knows the time as it's not shown on the SC feed.

Steel kill the penalty along with the shorty....... Not much from that SC PP.........

SC answers. Ring it in, puck battle, Steel's Green tries to flip it along on his backhand, picked at the wall, centering feed to a pinching Mantaro at the inside circle, rip[s one glove side, 2-2.

Thank you Sanderson, just past the 10:00 mark. SOG, 9-5 SC. Think that may have a home town scoring bias.

My guy Karashik steps up with a nice open ice hit, but called head contact. SC on the PP...........

I'll take it but Hellickson it seemed just pushed Johnstone down from behind and he's whistled for it. Steel PP with 3:30 left in the 1st.

Solid PP killed by SC but not before Jaremko weaves in the zone (SC sloppy around the slot tonight), rips it off the iron, rebound to Walker he rips it off the iron!

SC dumps for a line change, Ladd goes behind the net, backhands it along the wall, picked at the half boards, quickly sent to the slot and tipped home by Tufto. 3-2, SC.

1st period ends, 3-2 SC........... Ladd battling pucks for sure but the Steel are in it. No trapping, dumping, no slowing it down or sagging by the Steel with a neon green goalie.

If SC gets their skating legs this will be a tough come from behind.

Steel 4th line and 13th forward strike 5 minutes into the 2nd. Started with an absolute dogged hounding by a Steel player in his zone (can't see the damn thing), Steel's Mirageas gets it out and up to Long, he skates it inside the blueline checks up, feeds a charging Mirageas with a cross ice pass, Mirageas gets it to the net, looks like it was blocked, my guy 13th forward picks up the loose puck at the low left circle, rips it past Kiv short side glove side. 3-3...........
