America's Team does it again. Their ability to get all kinds of high profile talent every year is crazy.

Four players will not be returning to the Plymouth-based organization for the second season of their two-year training program – Michigan natives Blade Jenkins and Will MacKinnon, along with goaltenders Ryan Ullan and Keegan Karki.     http://mihockeynow.c...-under-18-team/

That is the other "America's Team", not THE America's Team.

I had heard about the goaltenders. The same person also indicated several players were heading out and from what I inferred there may be at least one more than the two that were mentioned.

The draft never stops amazing me.  Kids not drafted who should be and kids drafted who don't have a chance.  Just amazing.  When I see a player I know really well who might end up being a third line NAHL player some day, taken in this draft, but a kid already talking to D-1 programs not drafted, I have to scratch my head.

Tri City with 8 picks in the first 4 rounds.   Muckult did this a few years ago and won the cup the next year.  ...... Will be great for the fan listening to Fine call a HD feed and a Muckult creation.

Thought I remembered this kid's name, Wouter Peeters.   The Chicago Blackhawks took this big goalie in the 3rd round last year.   Nice pick by YT in the FIFTH round:   http://www.elitepros...p?player=241698

Not if Cal Petersen decides to not sign in Buffalo.

You might want to check the huge turnaround of the Charlottetown Islanders this year in the QMJHL.
Then go back and see who the GM/HC was the year prior to Muckult winning the cup.
I’d also keep an eye on who has interviewed for the Florida Panthers job.

A common mistake.

If I was talking about Team USA, I would have said "Team America".

Everyone knows Waterloo is America's Team.

Not 100% certain if true but was told Peeters is heading to Europe to play professionally.

Don't tell Scott Brand that. He could quit whatever job he's working at any time and sell out Young Arena. Crushing the spirits in Cedar Rapids with their homo-erotic dance tune goal songs...

Looks like half the league has drafted Robbie Stucker.  The Steel threw their hat in the ring this year with a 12th round flier:   http://www.elitepros...p?player=300993

The USHL draft absolutely floors me every year. This is where you can see how many more resources CHL teams put into scouting than the USHL. Some of these picks amaze me. Waterloo's first round pick baffles me along with a number of others. I agree ML, this whole process with the USHL is puzzling. And I won't even go into my rant on the NTDP.......lol.

Where was that said? It wasn't. Simply pointed out that pick baffles me in the first round. I can assure you I'm not the only one. And I meant a number of other draft picks overall, not in relation to Waterloo.

Serious question, why is Sam Huff in the first round a baffling pick for Waterloo. I have never seen him play. Just looking at the numbers it seems like a solid pick to me. Good size, over 2 points a game in MN, committed to Minnesota, rated 131 by central scouting, captain of high school team, plus not expect at Minny until 2018 or 2019.
