Boy...The Saints are awful against speed up front. Lincoln skated around them a couple weeks ago, Waterloo is doing the same thing tonight. Reason #1 they match up well against Muskegon and Youngstown, but these west teams have made the Saints D look silly

Ruggiero was suspended for an instigator from last week, he'll be back tomorrow. Eric Esposito and Russell are out tomorrow for sure. Russell was lucky, Marshall Moise going to rip his head off earlier but the zebras got in between first. Ref seemed to lose control for a bit after that. Green Bay got away with a lot of holds and hooks, ref was a little beyond 'just letting them play' in my opinion. Kulbakov got ran in the first and it looked legit, not his usual embellishment, but I think his reputation got the better of him and no call on it.

I don't feel so bad after seeing that the U-18s won.

Need you more than ever to get your highlight's up. Made it through about 14.7 seconds of that Buc feed last night. Too bad, would have love to watch these two hair on fire clubs race back and forth shooting at top goalies in the league...

You'll feel bad if they roll into your town. Man those 18's are goooood.

Especially with the Top 4 U17 players with them. Wise, Wahlstrom and Farabee are the real deal as '00s

Last night in the 3rd period Fargo had both Michael Graham and Blake Lizzotte limp off the ice. Hopefully nothing serious, will have to wait and see. Graham had just returned from an injury last weekend.

Scoreboard

Green Bay 1 @ Youngstown 3

Bloomington 2 @ Muskegon 3 (SO)

Team USA (U-17) 3 @ Chicago 6

Sioux City 4 @ Des Moines 2

Cedar Rapids 1 @ Fargo 5

Tri City 2 @ Madison 1 (SO)

Omaha 3 @ Sioux Falls 2 (SO)

Waterloo 5 @ Dubuque 3

Team USA (U-18) 4 @ Lincoln 2

HockeyPhan/Justin Irwin W in over Green Bay puts the Phantoms 7 points up on Gamblers

LSJ/Dave Hart Jacks rally again, win another nail biter over Bloomington

Thunder Site Halladay kicks out 37 as Thunder salvage a point in shootout loss at Muskegon

Bloomington (20-23-7, 47 pts) never trailed until the final shooter of a three-round shootout, as Andrei Svechnikov scored the only goal of the shootout to give the third-place Lumberjacks (31-16-4, 66 pts) the win.

Halladay (Merrimack College) followed up a 36-save performance on Thursday night with a 37-save showing in the series finale, his highest save totals in back-to-back games in his career. His best sequence of the night came in overtime when he stopped all nine shots he faced in the seven-minute extra session to get the game to the shootout.

Steel Site Badini extends point streak to 7, 4th linemates Long and Gratton combine for 4 points in Steel 6-3 win over U-17's

Muskateers Site White hot Muskateers win streak moves to 9, cool of red hot Des Moines

Maybe tonight would be the night. Maybe tonight would be the night the Musketeers seemingly endless win streak would be snapped, it was after all the perfect time to do it.

The Musketeers have been out of the Tyson Events Center for two weeks now, even giving up their ice to the NAIA Division II Women’s basketball national championship this week. They were on the road and playing a team, the Des Moines Buccaneers, that was just as hot as them.

They even had a looming date with the second place Waterloo Blackhawks the next day, but none of that mattered.

There is just absolutely no way to slow this team down right now.

Bucs Site/Erick Zamora Sioux City doubles up Bucs, 4-2

Des Moines could manage just two shots on goal in the third period and neither team would score in the final twenty minutes to leave the score at 4-2.

Force Site Force dominate Cedar Rapids, 5-1

Storm Site/David Fine Dop stops 26 then all 9 in shootout for a Storm win at Madison

Caps Site McKay stops 8 of 9 in shootout but fall to Tri City

Lancers Site/Isaac Berky Lancers go down 2-0 to Sioux falls, comeback to win in a shootout

Stampede Site/Jim Olander Stampede let 2-0 lead slip away, gain a point in shootout loss in front of 6,235

Hawks Site Hawks cruise at Dubuque

Bailey Conger stacked up three points, and the Waterloo Black Hawks never trailed during a 5-3 win against the Dubuque Fighting Saints Friday at Mystique Ice Center.

Saints Site/Jordan Kuhns Waterloo scores 22 seconds in and never look back

USA Site 18's win at Lincoln, 4-2

LJS/Tim Gray The Stars finish 0-for-8 on the power play, including two 30-second 5-on-3 chances in the third period, fall 4-2 to U-18's

“Our power play needs to be better, and we have to find a way to score those goals,” Hartsburg said. “I haven't liked our power play since Mike Gillespie got knocked out of the one unit. The one unit is fine, at least they create something, but our other unit needs to be better.”
