A look at the standings.

Place - team - games played - points - max points avail
1. Green Bay 42-68-104
2. Indiana 42-57-93
3. Dubuque 43-57-91
4. Omaha 43-55-89
5. Lincoln 41-51-89

It's basically a five-game lead. By my math, if Green Bay goes 13-5, it wraps up the Anderson Cup. If Green Bay goes 9-9, it would have 86 points; Indy would need to go 15-3 to get to 87 points.

Or, looked at another way, Green Bay's "magic number" is 26 - a combination of 26 points earned by GB or not earned by Indy gets it the cup.

Here's who Green Bay has left for games - and GB record vs. them so far
5 - Muskegon (3-0)
5 - Youngstown (0-1)
2 - Dubuque (3-1)
2 - Indiana (4-0-2)
2 - USA (3-1)
1 - Waterloo (3-0)
1 - Cedar Rapids (3-2)

That's only one game against a western team. Nine at home and nine on the road, although it's uneven, with 4 of 5 at home, then 6 on the road, then 5 at home, then 2 on the road at Y'town to finish the season.

So, I guess with 2 games left against GB, Dubuque and Indy have more control of their destiny than either Lincoln or Omaha.
